Yes, this is a BYOW (Bring your own Weed) class. We do not provide or sell cannabis. Also consider that in the state of California state it is legal to share among consenting adults (and there is usually plenty to go around!).

This is an all-levels gentle slow flow yoga class, oriented towards mindful awareness and relaxation. Javiera teaches yoga from a therapeutic and trauma-informed perspective. If you are new to yoga, we invite you to take it slow and be mindful of your body, listen to your body . There might be discomfort at times yet there should be no pain, take a step back if you need. If you have any concerns please reach out before class.

First-timers to Ganja Yoga or yoga in general might want to ‘start low, go slow’. You can start with a tinny toke, consume less cannabis than you usually do, see how you feel with that. You can always consume a little more later or in your next class! Some people with higher tolerance levels might smoke more. Everyone’s relationship to cannabis is different. Be mindful of your body, intention and usage.

It depends. Cannabis is bio-individual, it affects us all very differently. You can start by exploring high CBD strains to check how you feel, then moving to finding a strain that works for you.
The best advise is ‘start low, go slow’. You can always add more along the way!
